My passion for chiropractic began at a young age when I suffered multiple low back injuries from competitive gymnastics that were only covered up with pain medications until I received corrective chiropractic care. Following a series of chiropractic adjustments, I was able to return to gymnastics and ditch the pain medications. Since then, my love and awe for chiropractic has only grown. Through injury, stress, pregnancy, and now early motherhood, I have been able to witness the wonders of chiropractic not just through my patients' healing, but my own.
I graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California after earning a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences in Psychology from Gonzaga University - Go Zags! In March 2020 I opened Grit City Chiropractic in Fircrest. After the birth of my daughter, I made the hard decision to sell my practice. Since then, I have been seeing a handful of patients out of my home. Being a mom and a healthcare provider seemed daunting, but I appreciate the patients who make it work for me to be both at the same time.
I have witnessed chiropractic care help patients of all ages - infants with colic, children with ear infections, adults with migraines, fibromyalgia, infertility, arthritis, and more. I've also witnessed many patients who were able to maintain their health and decrease their sick days significantly. I am especially passionate about helping women before and during pregnancy. Aches and pains during pregnancy may be common, but they don't have to be normal. Seeing the power of chiropractic care has only furthered my passion for health care!
Outside of the office, I am a strength coach at Vie Athletics, enjoy exercise, reading, spending time with my husband and daughter, and learning more about natural ways of living!
